I thought of an alternative way of reclaiming the harbour - with rainbow rather than soil. As time goes by, the rainbow (colorful clay) faded out because of the accumulation of dusts brought by passerby’s footsteps. This faded rainbow and the Star Ferry Pier Clock Tower were sent to the landfill together.

We covered our eyes, and played the chime of the Star Ferry Clock Tower repeatedly on recorders together. It is because in Hong Kong most people have to learn to play the recorders when they are in primary schools. I wanted to use the sound of recorders, which can recall the memory of the public, as a medium to intervene with them. The noise and the enclosed environment of the ferry forced people to listen to the chime of the tower.

I wear a shiny black star made by wood, standing under the clock tower, to invite people to see the reflection of the clock tower.
