In an area called Kugaeyama, where the Tamagawa Josui pass through, Tokyo government plans to build a big road on either side of the canal destroying many homes and the natural environment which has grown up there. An old lady called Yamaji Ieko opposes to build the road and goes to protest against this every day.

In response to her silent protest, I want to build up a linkage between Chiyoda, Kugaeyama and the source of the river. I make a battleship and invited the community group who are opposing the construction to write their message on the flag and bring it to the source of the river and launch on there.

龍頭棍是電影《黑社會》中油麻地某社團選座館時你爭我奪的權力象徵。

鄧伯話：「摝棍無左，成個字頭都好無面」

龍尾棍是電影《飛沙風中轉》中油麻地某社團選座館時出現你爭我唔恨的情況而被大量複製的A貨，因為龍頭棍前兩 年被充公，放進警察博物館展覽.

西九建成後，社團歷史和社區歷史或同樣面臨隱退的危機。「西九龍頭棍」結合上述前者的衝勁，後者的機靈，一面回望過去，也捉緊現在，讓每人都能感受手握龍頭棍的滋味。

「西九龍頭棍」將以龍頭棍外型，芝麻糊＋綠豆沙的糖心冰棒內涵，務求繼竹庶茅根水之後，打進西九龍街頭小食的市場，成為地區小食，一 人有一手，一人咬一口。

The dragon head scepter appeared in the movie Election (2005) as a symbol of power. It usually resurface when the Yau Ma Tei triads have to compete to be elected boss. Uncle Tang said: “If the scepter is lost, the whole gang looses face.”

The dragon tail scepter appeared in the movie Once A Gangster (2010) as a mass replicated object. It was something no one cared to fight for. The original Dragon Head Scepter was confiscated two years ago and relocated to the Police Museum. 


When the WKCD project is completed, both the history of the triads and the local community culture both face extinction.

With these in mind, one of the way to keep the story is to make it our custom. The West Kowloon Dragon Head Scepter lets everyone have a taste of holding the dragon scepter. It will be marketed as the next popular street food to become a collective memory in the community.

去年12月25日，劉曉波被判監十一年。
這一年的聖誕節，看到商店外張貼慈祥的聖誕老人頭像卻不禁想起仍然身陷囹圄的劉曉波。

我們把這個戴上聖誕帽的劉曉波頭像送給活化廳附近的街坊，讓街坊貼在門外，
表達對另一位慈祥人物的紀念。


Last year in 25th Dec, the Nobel Peace Prize winner Lui Xiao Bo is sentenced to 11 years as he participated in writing Charter 08 emphasizing the need to improve human right in China.


During christmas this year, I cant get rid from thinking him when i saw the Santa figure,that people put it for decoration for their shop.


We design this Lui Xiao Bo figure with a christmas hat, and give to the local community, and invite them to put it in their shop/house/window.I hope this can be an alternative way to memorize a thankful kindness heart during Christmas.

4.      開始遊戲: 擲骰子前進(如飛行棋)

5.      棋子踏在不同顏色方格決定抽那類字咭。

6.      鬥快到終点, 最後一格為 “民主自由新中國”

That is June 4th version of Pictionary, board game that guessing the word by drawing out of it. there are number of stories/ slogan/ character/ name of place....etc in the game, and we represent them by drawing only.

In the game, i think of how ppl related the June 4th history by visual representation, which scene we chose to represent the stories of June 4th, and how this image will gonna be construct the meaning to the participant.
